Caroline Chen is a reporting intern at The Center for Investigative Reporting. She has freelanced for the New York Daily News and The Huffington Post and previously interned at SF Weekly and Time Out Hong Kong. She received her master's degree at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 2013 and was a recipient of a Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship. She earned a bachelor's degree from Stanford University with a major in English and minor in math.
