Elizabeth Share is chief development officer for The Center for Investigative Reporting. She is a member of CIR’s senior leadership team and is responsible for gifts from foundations and individuals. From 2012 to 2014, she served as CIR’s senior director of foundation relations. Share has been helping donors and nonprofits increase the impact of their work in communities worldwide for more than 30 years. Among those she has worked with are the Isabel Allende Foundation, the Khaled Hosseini Foundation, the Chez Panisse Foundation and the Nepal Youth Foundation. She served for 10 years as the vice president of the Autodesk Foundation and was a board member for CompassPoint, a leading provider of technical assistance support to nonprofits. Share is the founder and principal of Wise Giving, a philanthropic advisory practice serving clients worldwide. She is based in CIR's Emeryville, California, office.
